Alsobrook Art Supply promotes the visual arts with a focused effort in continuing cross cultural exchange initiatives with China & Korea. Art is a global language from which cultural exchange bridges are being built. We, the Alsobrooks, have lived between the U.S. (Humboldt, TN) and Northeast Asia in Yanji, China.

Public pottery classes and handmade artworks are offered in our U.S. based studio-gallery, Alsobrook Artwork Supply, to help raise funds for continuing cross-cultural development.

Our goal is to continue working between the U.S., China, Russia and North Korea where the arts serve as a platform for the advancement of dialog, understanding, and even reconciliation. Having lived in Northeast China & Korea for 2 years to date gives us firsthand experience to continue this development and maintain what has been already started, and you can help!

To date, we have a coal kiln in North Korea that was built to produce pottery and ceramic artworks in addition to other products that can serve other needs such as ceramic roofing tiles, taught art and English classes in private and public Chinese and Korean schools, and helped further develop cultural exchange initiatives in North Korea.

Our interests are not geopolitical in nature, but that which relates to forming friendships with those who share interests in the arts, crafts, tourism and cultural exchanges.

Think of it as doing art for a purpose beyond the self. If you believe art reaches its fullest potential by building bridges to all nations, you share our vision.
